#25. Dying Light 2 (PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC)

Dying Light 2 was originally announced all the way back in 2018 but the game only finally launched in 2022 after several delays.

Dying LIght 2 is definitely worth the wait, as it reminded us how fun open-world first-person parkour canbe when the movement and overall gameplay feels polished and good to control. You can jump, climb, wall-run, monkey bar swing, slide and even glide across the world. And pull off sweet dropkicks.

While Dying Light 2 isn’t perfect with its glitches and story holes, it makes it up plentiful with a lot of places and secrets to explore and uncover, a rich soundtrack, and even a New Game Plus option if you want to carry over your overpowered main character to the earlier parts of the undead-infested journey.

People may be tired of zombies and post-apocalyptic scenarios, but Dying Light 2 is able to reignite the passion for the genre. Plus, developer Techland is promising around five years of content for Dying Light 2, so fans of the game will have a lot to look forward to in the future in terms of content.
