MapleStory M Collabs With Blackpink In New Update

Nexon Korea has announced the update for the collaboration between Nexon’s flagship IP MapleStory and global artist BLACKPINK.

Nexon has recently released two episodes of the collaboration videos as a preview for the collaboration project. Episode one of the collaboration videos features MapleStory gameplay experiences and each BLACKPINK member’s fashion style preferences.

In episode two, BLACKPINK members divide into two teams – BLACK team (JISOO, JENNIE) and PINK team (ROSÉ, LISA) – and use BLACKPINK’s popular songs as inspiration to design collaboration items with the game’s art design department. Those two-episode videos where BLACKPINK members talk about their gaming experiences and provide ideas for design items have garnered a lot of attention from the players.

In this collaboration, MapleStory has released two BLACK Packages, two PINK Packages and BLINK Beauty item (Face/Hair). BLACK Packages, which are designed by JISOO and JENNIE, will include a chic and charismatic concept inspired by the popular songs “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down.” PINK Packages, which are designed by ROSÉ and LISA, will include the cute, bubbly, and lively concept inspired by the popular songs “As If It’s Your Last,” “Boombayah,” “Ice Cream,” and “DDU-DU DDU-DU.”
