Panda Global Finally Remove Dr Alan As CEO
By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|December 6, 2022|0 Comment
Panda Global has come out with a second statement announcing the removal of Dr Alan as CEO but it may be too little too late. In case you missed it, I did a video on our YouTube channel breaking down the drama prior to Panda’s first statement.
A day and a half after their initial statement, Panda Global come out with another statement addressing the concerns of the community. The reason why the community was up in arms was due to the fact that no actions were taken against CEO Dr Alan’s actions.
With the second statement, they’ve fixed that as they announced that Dr Alan will no longer be CEO effective immediately. This should be taken with a grain of salt as it is to the public’s understanding that Dr Alan is still involved with Panda Global, only having the title of CEO removed. Following this announcement, it was also confirmed that the Panda Cup Finale will be postponed indefinitely.

Panda Global also addressed the ‘80% of their players’ desiring to leave the organisation. In the same statement, they stated that they will assist their players with their resignations and the termination of their contracts along with supporting them in finding a new team.
Honestly, I think the damage has already been done with the first statement. If Panda had released their second statement initially, then I think the Smash community would have been a lot more forgiving but that still doesn’t change the fact that Dr Alan is still involved with the organisation. Only time will tell to see if this will be the downfall of the org as a whole.
