Bungie Is Working On Multiple Unannounced Projects With Sony
By Alleef Ashaari|January 6, 2023|0 Comment
Ever since Sony acquired Bungie in February 2022, there has been nothing much from the developer besides Destiny 2 updates. However, there might be a reason for that, and it’s an exciting one. Bungie is apparently working on not one, but multiple unannounced projects with Sony and PlayStation.
This is according to a tweet by Bungie senior design lead Tom Farnsworth. He has worked at Bungie for a whopping 11 years, so what he’s saying is highly likely genuine.
And with the support of Sony we are working on a number of unannounced projects too. Come join us!
Also, obviously I’m missing a medal, my kids played with the shield awhile back and I’m still looking for it, lol.

This is interesting because if there’s one genre that Sony is currently lacking in, it’s first-person shooter exclusives. Their last major exclusive game in the genre was arguably Killzone Shadow Fall by Guerilla Games, which originally launched back in 2013.
We’re looking forward to seeing what Bungie has in store for the future. In other related and recent news, a former director of Valorant is now working as the director of a mystery new game at Bungie.
