Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Live-Action Ad Pops Up In Australia
Earlier today, a new live-action Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 advertisement showed up online. Many fans have gone wild seeing that it teases a spring 2023 release window, even though Insomniac Games have previously confirmed a fall 2023 release window just last month.
To clear things up, firstly, the live-action Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 advertisement is real and it was shown on TV in Australia. However, spring in Australia is actually the equivalent of fall in the United States, which means that it still refers to the period between September to November/December in any given year.
As such, there haven’t been any changes to the release window for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It’s still releasing sometime between September to November/December 2023, which is fall in the US and spring in Australia.
Much of the development team that brought us Marvel’s Spider-Man is returning to produce Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, including Bryan Intihar (creative director) and Ryan Smith (game director). Tony Todd (of Candyman fame) will be voicing the symbiote-fueled Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter will reprise their roles as Peter and Miles respectively.
