Shazam Fury Of The Gods director David F. Sandberg has revealed that the movie will receive a new trailer sometime later this month in January 2023 (via one of his Instagram stories). The upcoming sequel to 2018’s Shazam will be the first movie from DC Studios in 2023.

Shazam Fury Of The Gods was originally planned for 21 December 2022 but is now slated to release on 17 March 2023.

Shazam Fury Of The Gods stars returning cast members Zachary Levi as Shazam; Asher Angel as Billy Batson; Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman; Adam Brody as Super Hero Freddy; Ross Butler as Super Hero Eugene; Meagan Good as Super Hero Darla; D.J. Cotrona as Super Hero Pedro; Grace Caroline Currey as Mary Bromfield / Super Hero Mary; Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley; Ian Chen as Eugene Choi; Jovan Armand as Pedro Pena; Marta Milans as Rosa Vasquez; Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez; with Djimon Hounsou as Wizard.

Joining the cast are Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren as three goddesses, with the latter being the film’s antagonists. The film is directed by David F. Sandberg and produced by Peter Safran. Rachel Zegler will play the youngest of the three goddesses.
