Disney Confirms Toy Story 5, Frozen 3 & Zootopia 2 In The Works

Disney CEO Bob Iger has announced (via Variety) that three big sequels to Disney animated movies are currently in the works, including Toy Story 5, Frozen 3 and Zootopia 2. However, no other details (such as release dates or release windows) were revealed.

For the Toy Story franchise, there are currently four main instalments and one spinoff movie, which was 2022’s Lightyear. Meanwhile, Frozen has two movies under its belt, with 2019’s Frozen 2 being the most recent. As for Zootopia, there’s the 2016 movie and the recently-released animated series anthology spinoff. You can check out our review of Zootopia+ here.

It will likely be several years before we receive more news or details about these movies.
