Marcos Gaming Qualify For Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023

Marcos Gaming are headed to Malaysia for the Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023 which will take place on 18 to 19 March.

This incredible team just made history by becoming the first Indian organization to qualify for the tournament, and they’re ready to take on the best of the East Asia and Southeast Asia Leagues.

The Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023 – India is already underway having started on 7 January and is ongoing until 25 February. The top five teams of India are battling it out for two spots in the main event in Malaysia, and Marcos Gaming just secured one of them.

In Stage 1 of the India League, the five teams competed in a single round-robin format. Marcos Gaming stepped up to the plate and dominated the competition, beating all of their opponents with ease and even taking down the reigning Indian champions, Gods Reign. Their first-place finish earned them a direct slot in the Grand Finals of Stage 2 of the India League.

Now, Marcos Gaming is headed to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to compete against the best in the region. This pan-regional LAN tournament is filled with high-stakes action, and the winner will walk away with the coveted title of the Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League champion and a grand prize of US$30,000.

The Team

Marcos Gaming has an incredibly talented roster, including players Snowyy, Volc, Meruem, VoxZ, and Kyurem. They’re gearing up for the India League Finals on 19 February, where they aim to end on a high note before heading to the international competition.

Volc, a player on Marcos Gaming, expressed his excitement about the qualification, saying:

“We’re thrilled to represent India at the Asia Champions League in Malaysia. Our org, Marcos Gaming, has been incredibly supportive throughout this journey, and we’re grateful to The Pokémon Company and Skyesports for giving us this opportunity. We’re working hard and looking forward to competing amongst the top teams in Asia.”

The other slot for the India League will go to either Revenant Esports or S8UL, so we’ll have to wait and see who will join Marcos Gaming in Malaysia. But one thing is for sure, this is going to be a tournament to remember! Get ready for some serious Pokémon action as the best teams in the region face off for the ultimate prize.
