Diablo 4 Open Beta PC Specs Revealed; Looks Pretty Lightweight

Action RPG Diablo 4 is getting an open beta session playable for early adopters and the public later this March, so it’s only fit to tell PC gamers what hardware they need to run the game.

This being a 2023 title and how mainstream the action RPG series is, we weren’t surprised at the specs being in the middle and low side of things, especially if you’ve upgraded your computer last year. It is a far cry from Diablo 3’s specs which catered towards all sorts of PCs low and high in the 2012 era of gaming.

Diablo 4 Open Beta Minimum PC Specs

Settings to run the Diablo IV Open Beta at 1080p native resolution / 720p render resolution, low graphics settings, 30 fps.

  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8100
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 280
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD with 45 GB available space
  • Internet: Broadband Connection

Diablo 4 Open Beta Recommended PC Specs

  • Operating System: 64-bit Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4670K or AMD R3-1300X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 470
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD with 45 GB available space
  • Internet: Broadband Connection

The SSD-requirement may be off-putting to some, but you can still run the game on an HDD drive, albeit with longer load times. Still, it’s looking like Diablo 4 is going to be for all sorts of gamers from potato rigs to high-end powerhouses. For more on Diablo 4, check out our open beta feature.
