A Raid Shadow Legends animated series titled Raid Call Of The Arbiter is in development, with ten five-minute-long animated shorts coming to YouTube that will premiere on 18 May 2023. It is being
Publisher Pixel United and developer Plarium announced that Rollman Entertainment CEO and former president of Marvel Television Eric Rollman will produce the series, while Lex + Otis CEO Jay Oliva will be the showrunner, and composer Jesper Kyd (who has worked on Assassin’s Creed and Borderlands) will create original music for the show.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Lang, the CEO of Plarium’s parent company Pixel United, said:
“There’s been a significant demand from the players who want to know more about the story, more about the characters, more about the experiences. [We were not] trying to follow all the other games companies that have had some success of late in terms of their IP. It was really more coming out of our players and wanting to extend the storyline of what this game represents.”
Raid: Shadow Legends is a freemium mobile role-playing game developed and published by Israeli game developer Plarium Games, a subsidiary of the gambling company Aristocrat Leisure. A port to PC was released on 21 January 2020. It is best known for being a meme for its extensive ads and sponsorship segments, especially in YouTube videos.
This is all probably due to the success of recent video game animated series like Arcane and Cyberpunk Edgerunners on Netflix.
