League of Legends and animation fans waiting for Arcane’s next season will have to keep waiting.

Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent said in a Bilbili interview that Arcane Season 2 would not be out in 2023. However, production of the show is still underway, with Laurent already having seen Episode 3 of the second season.

Because Arcane’s first season was a unanimous hit with everyone, it’s no surprise that people are waiting for Season 2 with bated breath. We reviewed Arcane’s first season and praised its animation, character development, pacing, and action. It also made us give a s*** about the League of Legends lore, which is pretty tough to do for jaded gaming folks like myself.
