Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Will Be Free-To-Play For A Week

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is offering a limited-time Free Access Period from 19–26 April. During this time, you can team up with your friends and play the classic 2v2 Gunfight mode, explore the new Pelayo’s Lighthouse map, and access other classic multiplayer maps and modes.

The Gunfight mode returns with the Season 03 launch and features four maps – Alley, Blacksite, Shipment, and Exhibit – perfect for duelling. In addition, the Pelayo’s Lighthouse map challenges players to navigate a small island during a storm and provides various power positions.

The Free Access Period also includes six core multiplayer maps and a battle map with multiple game modes to choose from. You can play Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Grind, Gun Game, Infected, One in the Chamber, and All or Nothing.

Here is a list of all the maps and modes that will be accessible to Free Access players:

• 6v6 Core Maps: Farm 18, Shoot House, Shipment, Dome, Himmelmat Expo, Pelayo’s Lighthouse
• 6v6 Modes: Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Grind, Gun Game, Infected, One in the Chamber, All or Nothing
• Gunfight Maps: Alley, Blacksite, Exhibit, Shipment
• Battle Maps: Santa Seña
• Battle Map Modes: Ground War, Invasion
