Black Panther Wakanda Forever Trailer Breakdown: Namor, Ironheart & More

During San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Marvel Studios unveiled the first teaser trailer for Black Panther Wakanda Forever, which is slated to end Phase Four of the MCU and premiere on 11 November 2022.
Let’s check out what’s interesting in the trailer:
The trailer starts on a sombre note and it looks like a sort of funeral. We also see Letitia Wright’s Shuri crying. While it hasn’t been confirmed either by Marvel or in the trailer, it seems likely that perhaps the late Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa has passed away in the MCU as well.
Plus, that mural. Murals in the MCU usually indicate the deceased (see Tony Stark AKA Iron Man).
The man is blue, so he must be Atlantean. The woman isn’t blue, so she must be human. If true, these are probably the parents of Namor.
Namor will be played by Tenoch Huerta.
Judging from their blue skin, these are probably Atlanteans. The female Atlantean in front might be Namora, the cousin of Namor.
Riri Williams AKA Ironheart, played by Dominique Thorne, will make her MCU debut. She’s basically the new-gen Iron Man, a genius who builds a suit of armour of her own.
In the comics (Avengers Vs X-Men), Namor gained the powers of the Phoenix and used it to unleash a tidal wave on Wakanda.
He might be doing the same in Black Panther Wakanda Forever, but without the powers of the Phoenix, of course.
The trailer ends with someone in a Black Panther suit unsheathing their claws. It’s unknown who this is. It might still be the late Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa or it could be anyone else. The most likely candidate for now remains Letitia Wright’s Shuri.
