Microids just dropped the Front Mission 1st Remake Limited Edition on Nintendo Switch and it’s got a killer retail version to boot.

For those of you who don’t know, Front Mission 1st Remake lets you play as a member of either the O.C.U. or U.C.S. Customize your Wanzer and use strategic thinking and firepower to take down your opponent. The game is set in the year 2090, where war is waged using giant war machines called Wanzers. Huffman Island, the only place where the Oceania Cooperative Union and the Unified Continental States share a land border, is the centre of a major conflict.

You’ll follow Captain Royd Clive and his O.C.U. reconnaissance platoon as they investigate a U.C.S. munitions plant, only to be ambushed by U.C.S. Wanzers. This sets off a chain of events that leads to an all-out war on the island. And if you’re lucky enough to snag the Limited Edition, you’ll get exclusive physical content made by the talented artists who created the game.
