18 Qualified Teams Announced For Garena Free Fire’s SEA Invitational

Get ready to witness an epic showdown in Free Fire’s first multiregional tournament of the year this May. It’s called the Free Fire SEA Invitational: Light Your Fire and it’s going to be epic! 18 teams from all over the place, including Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines and Sri Lanka (MCPS), Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Europe, MEA, Taiwan, and Pakistan, all vying for the top prize.

This tournament is divided into two stages: the Group Stage and the Grand Finals. The Group Stage runs from 12–21 May, while the Grand Finals take place on 26–28 May. All the action will be streamed live on YouTube, the official broadcast partner of FFSI. The prize pool is worth a whopping US$300,000, so you know these teams will be bringing their A-game.

In the Group Stage, 18 teams will battle it out, but only 12 will make it to the Grand Finals. Teams will be divided into three groups of six, with each team playing a total of 24 intense matches. To make things fair, the first two seeds from the same region won’t be in the same group, and no group will have more than two teams from the same region. We’re all waiting with bated breath for the Group Stage Draw results on May 7, when we’ll find out which teams are in which groups. Stay tuned, folks!

Get ready to witness some epic skill, strategy, and passion as these teams battle it out for the ultimate championship title.

The folks over at Free Fire have introduced a new slogan for the event called “Light Your Fire”. It’s all about encouraging every player to tap into their inner spark and unleash their full potential. The “Light” part is all about the power of each player to ignite their own and their teammates’ potential, fueling motivation and momentum towards victory. Meanwhile, “Fire” represents the fiery enthusiasm and burning desire that drives all contenders to pursue their dreams and reach the pinnacle of success. So get ready to light that fire and bring your A-game, folks!
