Here Is Your Team Overwatch Malaysia Roster For Overwatch World Cup 2023

Update 1/5/2023: Team Overwatch Malaysia weekend matches added.

The Overwatch World Cup 2023 is returning and will be taking place in June and Fall 2023, with the qualifiers happening online, and the top 16 teams advancing to Group Stage live.

Malaysia happens to be one of the 36 countries in the league, and its Team Malaysia Overwatch team has been confirmed. The players who will be representing Malaysia in Overwatch 2’s world cup tier tournament are:

  • joo3 (DPS)
  • gameprodude (DPS)
  • QiXMico (DPS)
  • fantasy_ow_ (Tank)
  • GeminiX (Support)
  • Numinoz (Support)
  • WANNABEE (Support)

The Malaysian team will be fighting Team Hong Kong this coming weekend on 5th May at 8.30pm and The Philippines on 6th May at 10pm. There will also be an all-star match on 7 May featuring two Asia Pacific teams, with the following countries being involved:

  • Chinese Taipei
  • Malaysia
  • Hong Kong
  • Indonesia
  • Philippines
  • Japan
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Singapore
  • India
  • Thailand

More info will be added on Monday via the Team Malaysia Overwatch PR team. Other Southeast Asia countries who will be participating include Indonesia, The Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
