Wild Hearts April Update To Introduce New Kemono & Karakuri

Electronic Arts and Koei Tecmo developer Omega Force have announced the “Lethal Blossoms” update for Wild Hearts, set to be released on 6 April. The update will bring exciting additions such as the new Kemono species Murakumo, a new Karakuri “Spinning Top,” new weapons and armour, and more.

Murakumo

Let’s talk about the new Kemono species – Murakumo. Rumours say that strange winds swirl the sakura blossoms long after spring has passed, and parents warn their children to keep their distance. Apparently, it’s not wind, but a Murakumo, a vulpine fiend that appears out of nowhere and spirits you away.

This Kemono has a range of petal-manipulating attacks that could be a real menace. It moves around on platforms made of sakura blossoms, making counterattacking a bit tricky. Watch out for the thunderous tornado it unleashes when enraged. To defeat the Murakumo, you would be wise to use a Spinning Top Karakuri.

Spinning Top

Another exciting addition is the new Karakuri – Spinning Top. It’s a stubborn assault that closes in on prey and gains speed and power whenever it hits Kemono or other obstacles. It can even stagger the Kemono when it connects.

Hunters, get ready to enhance your weapons and armour! You can use Core Orbs to enhance them even further. But, remember, the number of times you can carry out such enhancements, and the effects they have, differ for each piece of equipment. To get Core Orbs, you have to hunt Volatile Kemono successfully, and the type of Core Orb dropped will depend on where you’re hunting.

The team is still working hard to pack as many fixes, improvements, and adjustments as possible. Check out the full update notes on 6 April, and keep supporting Wild Hearts.

The end of April will be ferocious with the introduction of Deathhaze Gloombeak, a new Talisman Skill, new Special Quests: Serial Hunts, and new Chat Stamps and Emotes.
