[Rumour] Big PlayStation Showcase To Happen This End Of May

Sony is planning something big later this month.

The company might be planning a big PlayStation State of Play showcase in the next few weeks according to sources close to Giant Bomb writer Jeff Grubb (via Video Game Chronicle). Or maybe early June, though that would make sense given that June is usually when big video game companies disclose all information regarding upcoming titles in that titular month. After all, that’s when Summer Game Fest is also happening too.

This and a couple of other presentations will be happening despite E3 2023 being cancelled, showing that perhaps the latter isn’t as important when it comes to stage shows and presentations. For networking, yes, but in the grand scheme of things, this is quite an L for the ESA.
