Inti Creates Announces Umbraclaw, A 2D Platforming Cat Game Set In The Underworld

Inti Creates is getting in touch with its cat-loving side with its new 2D title.

Enter Umbraclaw, a 2D side-scrolling action game that follows the journey of Kuon, a cat who died and must return home to his owner from the underworld. The game is directed by Satoru Nishizawa, who is known for Blaster Master Zero. The game’s art style is part fantasy storybook and part afterlife imagery; a tinge of darkness if you will.

The game’s Anima Revive system will give Kuon abilities from various animals, giving you different attacks and skills to overcome the underworld and its obstacles. Umbraclaw will be out for PC; the game’s release date is still shrouded in mystery like our feline protagonist.
