Marvel’s Loki Season 2 & Echo TV Series Get Release Dates, Coming to Disney+ Later This Year

In a surprise move, Marvel Studios has announced the release dates for both Loki Season 2 and Echo Season 1. They are both coming to Disney+ Hotstar later this year.
All episodes of Echo Season 1 will premiere on Disney+ on 29 November 2023, which marks a first for any Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series. Previous series have all premiered new episodes on a weekly basis.
The series centres around Maya Lopez, a deaf Native American superhero who has the talent to imitate any opponent’s fighting style. Alaqua Cox is playing Maya and was introduced during Hawkeye Season 1. Maya, in the comics, has also run in the circles of Daredevil, Moon Knight and the Avengers. It also stars Zahn McClarnon, Vincent D’Onofrio, Charlie Cox, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning and Graham Greene.
Meanwhile, Loki Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on 6 October 2023. However, this will follow the conventional weekly model.
However, the next MCU series will still be Marvel’s Secret Invasion, which premieres on Disney+ Hotstar on 21 June 2023.
Speaking at Disney Upfront, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said (about Echo):
“In Hawkeye, fans were first introduced to Maya Lopez, a character played by Alaqua Cox. She will return to get her revenge in Echo, a limited drama from an incredible team of indigenous writers, directors and cast members. And in a first for us all episodes will drop on November 29.”
