No Co-Op In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Confirms Insomniac

Ever since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was originally announced, there have been rumours of the game featuring co-op or multiplayer elements. However, Insomniac Games has finally clarified the matter in a simple reply on Twitter.

When asked if Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be a co-op game, the official Insomniac Games Twitter account replied:

“Nope! It is an epic single-player adventure!”

That makes sense, considering that Insomniac has never really dabbled in multiplayer or co-op much. Plus, inserting co-op elements into a primarily singleplayer game will only prove to be divisive more often than not.
