DoubleShake Is A New 2.5D Platformer Slated For Next Year

If you need to scratch that late 90s PlayStation 1 platformer itch, Limited Run has you covered with its upcoming new game.

Publisher Limited Run Games and developer Rightstick Studios will be making an ode to old-school 2.5D platformers called DoubleShake for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

An action-packed platformer inspired by some of our favorite fifth Generation games such as Mischief Makers, Klonoa, and Tomba! Our goal is to utilize modern technology, techniques. and game design to “shake up” a nostalgic aesthetic. In DoubleShake, you’ll follow Loam as she investigates and grapples with the ensuing Chaos that threatens to toss the Caliko Archipelago into total disorder!
