Sony Pictures Delays Spider-Verse 3, Kraven & Other Movies

Due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA writers-actors strike, Sony Pictures has become the first major studio to announce major delays and new dates for their upcoming movies (via The Hollywood Reporter).

The biggest news of the bunch, of course, is that Spider-Man Beyond The Spider-Verse has been delayed indefinitely with no new release date for now. In addition, both Kraven The Hunter and Ghostbusters Afterlife 2 will no longer premiere in 2023, as they both have been delayed to 2024.

Check out the new release dates below:

Newly Announced:

  • Bad Boys 4 – 14 June 2024
  • Venom 3 – 12 July 2024

Delays:

  • Gran Turismo – 25 August 2023 (from 11 August 2023).
  • Madame Web – 14 February  2024 (from 16 February 2024)
  • Ghostbusters Afterlife 2 – 29 March 2024 (from 20 December 2023)
  • Spider-Man Beyond The Spider-Verse – TBC (from 29 March 2024)

  • Karate Kid  – 13 December 2024 (from 7 June 2024)
  • They Listen – TBC (from 30 August 2024)

It looks like fans will have to wait a lot longer for the conclusion to earlier this year’s Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse.
