Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis will be released on 7 September for iOS through the App Store and for Android via Google Play. You can already pre-register for the game on both platforms over here.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis blends retro-style and modern visuals in two gameplay modes. While exploring the world, the game employs a command-style RPG system with chibi characters. During battles, full-body characters take the stage, with more dynamic camera work, reminiscent of the original title’s style.

You will relive the most memorable moments from FFVII and experience the journey of a young hero Sephiroth. The best part? You get to create a team with beloved characters from the Final Fantasy VII series, including Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Zack, and others! Ever Crisis mirrors the original Final Fantasy VII’s battle system, the Active Time Battle, and incorporates materials, weapons, summons, and limit breaks from the original game. The mobile version supports extra features like Auto Mode and Battle Speed, and enables Co-op battles where three friends can join forces to defeat bosses collectively.
