Idol Showdown Is Getting New Characters, Starting With Usada Pekora This Month

Free fighting game Idol Showdown took the community by storm with its liberal use of VTubers from Hololive and such, while also giving them awesome moves and having the game itself be pretty fun to play.

Developer Besto Games Team announced during EVO 2023 week that it’s adding three new characters to the current eight VTuber roster. The first? Usada Pekora.

Usada Pekora has bunny ears, loves carrots, and claims to be a member of royalty, while also being mischievous. Her game plan seems to revolve around laying traps and putting opponents in precarious positions. Check out the gameplay below.

Idol Showdown will also be getting a new stage set on a pirate ship with a giant octopus in the background. The Usada Pekora DLC will be available on 11th August.
