Panic Set To Unveil Fresh Titles From Creators Of Untitled Goose Game & FAR Series

Panic, the crew behind Firewatch, had their first digital game showcase the other day, and boy, did they drop some cool bombs! If you missed the action, don’t worry – you can catch the whole shebang down below.

Straight outta Portland, Oregon, Panic, the peeps also responsible for the nifty Playdate handheld, spilled the beans that they’re gonna be putting out some fresh games. And guess what? They’re teaming up with the brains behind Untitled Goose Game, House House, and the masterminds at Okomotive, who brought us FAR: Lone Sails and FAR: Changing Tides.

So, let’s break it down. Michael McMaster from House House hopped on a video and spilt the tea: “Guess what, folks? We’re cooking up a new game with Panic. And guess what again? It’s gonna be like nothing you’ve seen before. No name for it yet, but hey, we’ll come up with something snazzy. You’ll dig it, I promise.”

Isabelle Roesch, the tech guru from Okomotive, chimed in too: “Hold onto your hats, pals. We’re venturing out of the Far Universe for a change. This time, we’re going big with our game. We’re talking mind-blowing adventure vibes and some seriously new gameplay tricks.”

And that ain’t all – Panic had more up their sleeves. They unveiled a game called Arco, a turn-based action RPG that’s all about revenge and tangled lives thanks to some shady corporate mafia biz.

They gave us sneak peeks at a couple of other games too. Nour: Play With Your Food, the experimental munchies art thing, is hitting the scene on 12 September for PS5, PS4, and PC/Mac via Steam and Epic Games Store.

And then there’s Despelote, a game that’s like a slice of life mixed with soccer fever. Think of childhood adventures and the enchantment of soccer in Quito, Ecuador, back when they were revving up for their first shot at the World Cup in 2002. Keep your eyes peeled – it’s aiming for an early 2024 touchdown on PC, Xbox Series X | S, and PS5.

So, yeah, Panic’s show was a rollercoaster of game goodies. You should definitely dive in and soak up all the deets below if you’re into some gaming excitement!
