S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart Of Chornobyl Delayed To 2024
GSC Game World has announced that they have delayed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart Of Chornobyl from its previously planned 2023 release window to sometime in Q1 2024. It is currently in development for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as Xbox Game Pass.
The news was revealed via the game’s latest fact sheet (via Gematsu).
The previous game was S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call Of Pripyat, which was the third game in the franchise and originally launched for the PC in 2010. This means that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart Of Chornobyl will technically be the fourth game in the franchise. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart Of Chornobyl is described as a huge and borderless open-world game with a non-linear story, as well as powered by Unreal Engine 5.
You can wishlist and pre-order the game on Steam now. At the time of writing, the game still shows a December 2023 release window, which might be a placeholder for now.
