New Dragon’s Dogma 2 Trailer Showcases The Game’s World & Different Classes

At Tokyo Game Show 2023, Capcom unveiled a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Dragon’s Dogma 2.

The new footage was presented by director Hideaki Itsuno and focused on some of the game’s mechanics, such as the Pawn system, the four starting class Vocations – Fighter, Mage, Thief, Archer. It also featured open-world mechanics, such as transportation via oxcart that can carry players from one location to another which can also be attacked by monsters, day and night differences, NPCs giving quests to the player and more.

The trailer also introduces the human kingdom of Vermund and the kingdom of the beastren Battahl, as well as advanced Vocations such as Magick Archer, and more.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a sequel to the cult-classic Dragon’s Dogma released in 2012. Dragon’s Dogma 2 will feature an explorable fantasy world created using immersive physics, character AI and the latest in graphics from Capcom’s RE ENGINE.
