Starfield Has The Biggest Xbox Game Launch Since Forever
Oh my stars and garters!
Starfield has broken Microsfot’s record for the biggest launch day for an Xbox Game Studios title. According to Xbox boss Phil Spencer a few days ago, Starfield has exceeded one million concurrent players across all platforms, though it’s not clear how many unique users have played the game. But just recently, the Starfield account has stated that the game has over 6 million people playing it by the end of its first official day of release.
As of this morning, #Starfield has already surpassed 6 million players, making it the biggest Bethesda game launch of all time. pic.twitter.com/4yZa1lAYjW

The last game that had a big launch was Forza Horizon 5, released in late 2021. The game had achieved 4.5 million players across PC, console, and mobile.
For the record, our review of the game is up for all to see; we loved the fact that it’s peak Bethesda. Our score is also on the game’s accolade poster; yay us!
We're thrilled to see how much you're enjoying #Starfield – the Settled Systems would be nothing without its most intrepid explorers. pic.twitter.com/mYjnvKDWQs
