Black Widow Final Trailer Showcases Taskmaster Going Wakanda Forever
By Alleef Ashaari|March 9, 2020|0 Comment
Disney and Marvel Studios have released the final trailer for Black Widow, ahead of its slated premiere on 30 April 2020. The new trailer showcases more of the villain Anthony Masters AKA the Taskmaster’s ability to mimic or copy the fighting styles of others thanks to his photographic reflexes, including those of the Avengers themselves.
As a result, he is one of the best physical fighters in the Marvel universe, able to go toe-to-toe with the even the most powerful heroes. The Black Widow final trailer reveals that Taskmaster now controls the Red Room, the secret KGB covert branch that Natasha herself was raised and trained in.
In the previous trailer, we saw Taskmaster wielding his iconic sword and shield combo, but the final trailer showcases the villain emulating the fighting style of Black Panther, performing the iconic ‘Wakanda Forever’ pose before unleashing his claws.
The final trailer also reveals that the remaining Assassins in the Red Room are being manipulated by Taskmaster against their will. However, we still don’t know who is playing the masked antagonist, or if he will unmask in the movie.
The Black Widow movie also features fellow Red Room assassin/former Black Widow Yelena Bolova (played by Florence Pugh of Midsommar fame), Red Guardian who is sort of like Russia’s version of Captain America with his very own team called the Winter Guard (played by David Harbour of Hellboy and Stranger Things fame), and Melina, another fellow Red Room assassin/former Black Widow (played by Rachel Weisz).
In the meantime, check out the brand new poster and final trailer below.
