Dead Island 2 First Story Expansion Haus Gets A Release Date
Dambuster Studio and Deep Silver have announced today that Dead Island 2 is getting its first story expansion titled, “Haus” set to drop in early November. The major expansion promises a fresh new storyline, new weapons and skill cards, and a brand-new location.

Players will find themselves fully immersed in a surreal and unsettling dreamscape, filled with elements of psycho-horror. Their primary objective will be to uncover the secrets of a mysterious cult that has taken root in the picturesque town of Malibu. This will introduce players to a secret billionaire who founded a techno-death cult. In a post-apocalyptic setting, the cult fights for survival amidst the Zompocalypse chaos.
Alongside the captivating narrative, the expansion introduces a range of exciting new survival tools and enhancements that add depth to the gameplay experience. One of the notable additions is the K-ROSSBOW, a long-range firepower that explodes zombified brains efficiently. Additionally, Haus introduces eight skill cards that enhance players’ abilities. These skill cards provide various upgrades, such as increased speed, improved accuracy, and enhanced stealth, enabling players to customize their gameplay style and adapt to different challenges.

This is the first of two planned story expansions for Dead Island 2. In the second quarter of 2024, SOLA Festival will launch. Both expansions are accessible through the game’s Expansion Pass, which costs $29.99/£24.99/RM141.52
Despite its troubled development, Dead Island 2 managed to exceed expectations upon its release. The game sold an impressive one million copies within a mere three days, showcasing its strong appeal to gamers worldwide. Within its first month on the market, Dead Island 2 continued to gain momentum, reaching an astonishing two million copies sold.
The Haus expansion will launch on 2 November 2023. Dead Island 2 is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Epic Games Store.
