Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning Comes To Malaysian Cinemas November 2023

Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning, has finally received a release date in Malaysia. Malaysian fans can now mark their calendars for the long-awaited screening of this exciting new instalment.

Set in the same continuity as the first two Digimon television anime series, the movie serves as the series finale of the Digimon Adventure 02 story. Spanning 50 episodes, the first two series aired from April 2000 to March 2001.

The animated film is set in the year 2012, a decade after the original events between Odaiba and the Digital World took place. Although Daisuke and the other DigiDestined have gone their separate ways, they are still connected by their strong bond with their partner Digimon. One fateful day, an enormous Digitama materializes unexpectedly above Tokyo Tower, delivering a message to the entire world.

“May everyone in the world have friends. May they each have a Digimon.” As the world bears witness to this extraordinary event, a young man named Lui Ohwada appears before Daisuke and his friends with a cracked DIGIVICE. This time, as adults, the DigiDestined are prepared to embark on a new adventure.

Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning is scheduled to be launched in Malaysia on 30 November 2023.
