New Persona 5 Scramble Trailer Showcases Joker’s Cooking & Okinawa

Atlus has unveiled a brand new four-minute-long trailer for their upcoming hack-and-slack action RPG Musou game Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. For those who still don’t know, this will act as a sequel to 2017’s Persona 5, as the events of the game take place after the first game.

In the new trailer, we see our favourite Phantom Thieves travel across Japan, explore new dungeons, brand new boss characters and glimpses of new characters like the mysterious Sophia.

In addition, we see more of the hack-and-slash action, but there are also hints of varied gameplay such as stealth, platforming mechanics, and even vehicular gameplay (Joker riding a motorbike around the city).

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is slated to release for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on 20 February 2020, with no confirmation for an official localized international version as of yet. In the meantime, check out the new trailer below.

Another new trailer also revealed a new location in the form of Okinawa and mechanics like Cooking and Requests. In Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, players can cook by using the ingredients you obtained, which offer various effects such as HP and SP recovery, strengthening party members, and more.

Recipes can be obtained from the game’s various shops and events to increase your cooking repertoire. As you progress through the story, various people may ask for Requests. You can obtain valuable rewards by completing Requests. Fun!

Persona 5 Scramble will be out 20th February in Japanese.
