Publisher Square Enix and developer AstralShift just announced the release date of their upcoming horror narrative adventure, Little Goody Two Shoes. The game promises to deliver an unparalleled and spine-chilling experience for players, all within the captivating ambience of 90s fairy tale anime-style graphics.

In the game, players assume the role of Elise, a young, ambitious girl who dreams of being wealthy. Despite this, life hasn’t been kind to her, and she finds herself doing menial jobs to survive. However, one day, Elise discovers a pair of shiny red shoes buried in her backyard, and things go horribly wrong. Her journey into the mysterious woods takes her on a life-changing journey filled with challenges and fears.

But Little Goody Two Shoes is more than just a horror adventure. In addition to the thrilling journey through the Woods, players also have the responsibility of managing Elise’s relationships with the townsfolk. Players can engage in various mini-games throughout the day to strengthen these relationships. These interactions are vital for Elise’s survival. However, as night falls and the moon rises, the game takes a darker turn. Elise must confront formidable foes that pose a threat to her life. Considering Elise’s limited day and night cycle, players must carefully manage her needs to ensure her survival.

Moreover, players can also connect with the charming bachelorettes of Kieferberg to immerse themselves in romance storylines. By unlocking dreamy date scenes and exploring their respective stories, the game adds a romantic touch to its dark and mysterious atmosphere. There are 10 possible endings to discover, which may or may not turn out to be a happy ending.

Little Goody Two Shoes is set to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on 31 October 2023. The demo is now available on Steam Next Fest: Fall 2023
