Fighting Game Personality Floe Has Died

Ari Weintraub, better known as Floe to the USA fighting game community, has passed away. He was 39.

He died on 16 October “peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a series of strokes took his life”.

He was a former member of Evil Geniuses in the fighting games division, while also being a renowned content creator in the FGC space. He was beloved for his joyful personality and on-air charisma in livestreams.

“It is with great sadness that i share this news on behalf of the Weintraub family. On October 16th, 2023 Ari “fLoE” Weintraub passed away at the age of 39 surrounded by his loved ones and close friends.

The mark he left on the world is undeniable. We are all grateful for the outpouring of love, but we would like to make clear his service will be by invite only. The close family and friends of Ari ask for respect and privacy at this time.”

My best friend Floe has passed away. Myself and his closest friends were there to be with him.

He lived a great life and made many people happy with his streams. An amazing guy and and he was there when I first started.

There's a lot to say about @Floejisan as a player, streamer, community pillar, and regional legend. Beyond accolades though, what I'll remember most is that he was kind, funny, and supportive in every interaction we shared.
