Overwatch 2 Season 7 Brings Us To Hell With Diablo 4 Collaboration

It is officially Spooky Season! Overwatch 2 is starting strong with a Diablo 4 collaboration at the start of their 7th Season. The season will start this 10th of October and is called Rise of Darkness.

A short teaser trailer was released on Twitter/X on the official Overwatch account. Our big bad Lilith from Blizzard’s Diablo franchise comes to unleash hell in Overwatch. Moira will get the beloved Lilith skin.

The teaser showed a spooky new version of the Blizzard World map. Overwatch’s Halloween PvE event game mode, Junkenstein’s Revenge makes it return as well with more updates. The mode appears to be set within the Tristram Cathedral section of the Blizzard theme park-inspired map, complete with Town Portals reminiscent of those seen in Diablo that players will have to deal with.

Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 Season 7 teaser also gives us a glimpse of a possible new Diablo-themed skin for Wrecking Ball. Other leaked elements of Rise of Darkness include a new Mythic skin for Hanzo called Onry?, as well as Halloween-themed outfits for Widowmaker (Ghost Bride) and Echo (Victorian Doll).
