RoboCop: Rogue City “Quietly” Cancelled For The Nintendo Switch

In a surprising turn of events, the highly anticipated game, RoboCop: Rogue City, has faced a silent cancellation for the Nintendo Switch platform. The news came unexpectedly from publisher Nacon.

The cancellation of the Nintendo Switch version was announced on the RoboCop: Rogue City Facebook page, which stated that no plans are in place for a Nintendo Switch release.

The cancellation of the Nintendo Switch version of RoboCop: Rogue City has not been accompanied by any detailed explanations. Fans who had been eagerly anticipating the game’s release on the Switch will need to explore alternative platforms to immerse themselves in the game’s distinctive gameplay mechanics and action-packed adventure.

In RoboCop: Rogue City, players will assume the role of the legendary character who is part human, part machine, and entirely dedicated to upholding the law. The objective is to restore order to the dangerous and crime-infested streets of Old Detroit. Equipped with a reliable Auto-9 weapon, enhanced physical abilities, years of law enforcement experience, and an array of useful tools, you will engage in a thrilling first-person adventure to uncover the truth and protect the city you call home. As the protagonist, you have the freedom to interpret and execute the prime directives your way. However, as the story progresses, it is crucial to proceed with caution, as corruption and greed pose formidable challenges without boundaries.

RoboCop: Rogue City is now set to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam on 3 November 2023.
