Update: added ESGS to the mix.
Just when you thought the crowds in Malaysia and Indonesia’s biggest comic conventions weren’t getting any bigger, along comes this bombshell news.
Sega will be participating in the following upcoming comic conventions at the tail end of 2023: ESGS (Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit) on 3rd-5th in the Philippines, Indonesia Comic Con on 4-5th November and Malaysia’s Comic Fiesta on 23rd-24th December. The company will be showcasing the following games in its booth:
Among all the games listed here, only Like a Dragon 8 and Persona 3 Reload will be out next year, while the other titles should be out by the time December hits for Malaysian gaming fans. So if you had to pick which game to queue up for to get a hands-on, it’s either the Persona 3 remake or Like A Dragon 8. In any case, Southeast Asia JRPG fans are going to want to get their tickets for these shows ahead of time.
We’ve checked out both games during this year’s Tokyo Game Show: here’s our preview of Persona 3 Reload and here’s our preview of Like A Dragon 8.
