ARK: Survival Ascended Is Coming to Xbox Before PS5

Just a few weeks ago, Studio Wildcard surprised PC players with the early access release of Ark: Survival Ascended. Now, they’ve given an update on the release date for the console versions on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

Studio Wildcard has announced that Ark: Survival Ascended is “on track” to release this coming week on November 14 for Xbox Series X/S. The dates for PS5 has yet to be announced, which means fans will just have to wait a little while longer. They did say that they are still in the works of finalizing the launch date with Sony. However, Studio Wildcard said that they still expect the game to hit the platform by the end of November.

Cross-platform with Steam will be enabled on day on itself on the day of the launces.

“We know there is still plenty more work to be done on all of those fronts, but we’re committed to making Ark: Survival Ascended the best survival game it can be. We’ll continue to release patches with bug fixes and performance improvements in the coming days, along with major feature additions over the coming weeks (and introducing Public Test Realm next week – more on that soon). In the meantime, thank you for your support and patience. We hope you’re enjoying Ark: Survival Ascended so far!”
