Blizzard Announces World Of Warcraft Classic Cataclysm

St BlizzCon 2023, World of Warcraft Executive Producer Holly Longdale took to the stage to announce the next expansion for World Of Warcraft Classic with World Of Warcraft Classic Cataclysm. Next year, Classic progression realms will advance from Wrath Classic to Cataclysm Classic, with a few changes based on player feedback and requests.

It is slated to launch in the first half of 2024.

World Of Warcraft Cataclysm was the third expansion following Wrath of the Lich King, which was originally released in 2010. The central plot of the expansion is the return of the evil dragon aspect Deathwing the Destroyer (originally Neltharion the Earth Warder).
