Sweet Home premiered worldwide on Netflix in December 2020. The initial season revolved around Cha Hyun-su, played by Song Kang, a socially withdrawn high school student who relocated to a new residential building named Green Home. As a devastating crisis unfolded, resulting in individuals transforming into monstrous creatures that embodied their deepest desires, Hyun-su overcame his own inhibitions to rescue others. However, the residents have since vacated the complex, and the world has succumbed to the menacing presence of these creatures.
The second season of the apocalyptic drama, Sweet Home, is set to delve deeper into the theme of survival, but on a much grander scale. The creators aim to expand the narrative by introducing a whole new ensemble of characters, thus embracing the vast and sprawling world in which the story unfolds. This upcoming season promises to take viewers on an even more intense journey as they witness the struggles and triumphs of this diverse group of individuals, all fighting for their lives in the face of the apocalypse.
