Fallout 76 Unveils Ambitious 2024 Roadmap With Map Expansion On The Horizon
Bethesda has outlined the content plans for Fallout 76 in 2024. In a recent blog post discussing the game’s expansion, Bethesda revealed that over 17 million players have engaged with Fallout 76 since its launch in November 2018. A recent update introduced Atlantic City as a new location, featuring two Expedition missions on the boardwalk.
In the upcoming spring of 2024, Fallout 76 will introduce additional content in Atlantic City, including a mission where players confront the legendary Jersey Devil, along with new story-driven quests, expanded areas to explore, and various rewards. Later in the year, Bethesda will extend the game’s map southward to the Shenandoah wooded heartland in Virginia. This uncharted territory will bring a new quest line, factions, and rewards.

Bethesda also plans to host seasonal events with rewards more frequently over the next year. The company aims to release additional features and improvements for both builders and adventurers in the game. Whether players have been exploring Appalachia since the beginning or are newcomers, the coming year promises an exciting time to delve into Fallout 76 and forge alliances in the Wasteland.
Additionally, Bethesda has postponed the Fallout 4 update for PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC to 2024. Amazon has also unveiled the first trailer for its Fallout TV series, set to premiere on Prime Video in April 2024.
