Free Modern Warfare III Multiplayer Trial Available This Week

Activision has confirmed that a free trial of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III multiplayer will be available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players.

The trial period runs from 14 December at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM BST until 18 December at the same time. That’s 15 to 19 December at 1:00 AM GMT+8.

Players can experience a selection of multiplayer content, including remastered maps and the new Season 1 map called Meat, located in a slaughterhouse in California’s Port of Oakland. The trial also includes three Ground War maps, War mode, and Modern Warfare Zombies.

Modern Warfare III Season 1, which launched last week, introduced new content across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. This includes three 6v6 multiplayer maps, the return of Gunfight, All or Nothing, Infected, and Headquarters multiplayer modes, a new Zombies story act with Dark Aether Rifts, and a new Warzone map called Urzikstan.

Although Modern Warfare III topped the UK software sales chart in November, its sales during the first three weeks were 38% lower than those of Modern Warfare 2 in the same period after its release last October, based on GSD data covering physical and digital retail.
