Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising DLC Characters Release Date & Windows Announced; Nier’s 2B Joins The Fray
Publisher Cygames and developer Arc System Works have announced the upcoming characters for its 2D fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising.
First up is one of the game’s bosses, Lucilius. The angel will be playable on 16 January 2024 and available as part of the Character Pass 1 DLC. He fights with magic swords, teleportation, and lasers via his Paradise Lost Super Skybound Art move.
Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising will add a character from the iconic action RPG title Nier Automata: the android 2B. She will fight with her long-ass katanas and assist droid. 2B will be out in late February.
In addition, the developers have announced two other characters coming into the fray as part of the Character Pass 1 DLC: Vane and Beatrix. The former will be out in April while the latter will be out in May. Beatrix is a fan-favourite among the Granblue Fantasy community (next to Sandalphon), so it’s no surprise she’s part of the roster.
Here’s the breakdown of the game’s roadmap:
Version 1.10 Update on 16 January 2024:
The Battle Pass Round 1 will dish out a special reward if you complete it: The Black Butterfly outfit for Narmaya.
Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising is out right now for PC and PlayStation consoles.
