New Cyberpunk 2077 Patch Adds Fully-Working Metro System
After many years since the debut Cyberpunk 2077 trailers, Night City will have its own functional metro system.
The upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 2.1 patch will add “a city-wide fully functional NCART metro system” which gives players “a more relaxed way of getting about the most dangerous megalopolis of the dark future”. Once you reach past a portion of the game’s main quest, you can unlock this feature: you can either fast travel to your destination, or hop on a ride through one of the five lines of Night City.
It’s entirely optional, as most of us are used to fast-travelling in Night City. But at the very least you’re given this nice alternative to get immersed into the game, and if you’re not in a rush, it’ll make for a fun experience. The patch also adds the following (and more):
- Radioport music player so you can listen and change the radio even when not in a car or vehicle.
- Replayable car races
- Boss fight improvements
- New vehicles like the Porsche 911 Cabriolet
- Better motorcycle handling
The Cyberpunk 2077 2.1 patch will be out on 5th December for free. It will be out at the same time as the release of Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition.
On December 5th, the same day Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition hits the shelves, we’ll release a free Update 2.1 introducing new and hotly anticipated gameplay elements. ?
