Penny Blood: Hellbound Enters Early Access In February
By Ali'sha Harris|December 1, 2023|0 Comment
Yukikaze, Studio Wildrose and Natsume Atari have announced their roguelike spinoff, Penny Blood: Hellbound will launch in Early Access for PC in February 2024. The spinoff promises to give players a taste of the Penny Blood experience prior to the release of the anticipated RPG.
The spinoff is set in the same universe as the crowdfunded RPG, Penny Blood. Players take on the role of Hellhounds, a collective of anarchists united by their common goal of overthrowing the oppressive regime. Each character possesses unique weaponry, skills, and personalities, contributing to the overall chaos within the strange interdimensional prison. Players must uncover the motives behind the enigmatic captor, the Celestial Rainbow. By experimenting with different combinations of characters, players can maximize the mayhem and customize the destruction according to their playstyle.
Developed by industry veterans at Natsume Atari, Devised by dark Japanese RPG mastermind Matsuzo Machida, featuring art by Miyako Kato, and with a brand-new soundtrack from Yoshitaka Hirota and Noriyuki Iwadare.
Penny Blood: Hellbound is slated to launch for Early Access via Steam in February 2024 followed by a full release in Summer 2024. The closed beta version of Penny Blood backers with around 10 hours of gameplay will be available via Backerkit on 14 December 2023.
