Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Massive Monster have confirmed that the second major update for Cult of the Lamb titled Sins of the Flesh is due to launch later this month.

This update will be free for all platforms and the largest update of the game yet. Sins of the Flesh is set to introduce new quests, resources, collectables, new outfits,  features, and improvements — providing plenty of reasons to return to your flock.

Headlined by a new sin-based progression system, aims to add more depth to cult management. Players will be able to engage in various sinful activities, including indulging in gluttonous rituals, constructing vain buildings, and promoting wrathful doctrines. These acts will guide your Followers along a more sinful path, which then allows you to create tiers of Followers, with only the most loyal being indoctrinated to become your Disciples.

There will also be bigger and better buildings to improve daily cult life, which are necessary to facilitate easier, faster chores and streamline the overall automation of cult processes. The implementation of these advancements is believed to result in improved overall well-being for your Followers, as it will enable them to take better care of themselves.

Additionally, better care will encompass the capacity for your followers to engage in procreation. This new feature will enable your Followers to establish an intimate bond and ultimately discover an egg together. Subsequently, this egg will hatch, and there is a possibility that the offspring may choose to pledge allegiance to your cult as they grow.

Sins of the Flesh is set to launch on 16 January 2024 and will be free to download on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
