FamilyMart Malaysia Gives Special Pokémon Ang Pao This Chinese New Year

What better way to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year than with a delightful Pokémon-themed Ang Pao? FamilyMart Malaysia has ingeniously come up with a campaign that allows customers to obtain these adorable gift packets with a minimum spend of RM28.00 in a single purchase.

Announced on their official Facebook page, the Ang Pao comes in three distinct Pokémon designs, each representing a different character. One version features Pikachu dressed in a traditional tang suit, which adds a touch of cultural flair to the beloved character. Another design showcases Snorlax, presented with a lively demeanour wearing a traditional Chinese cap. Lastly, the third Pokémon showcases Dragonite, taking flight against the backdrop of the Ang Pao.

What’s more, customers have the opportunity to win a Pokémon Trading Card Game Fun Pack. With each Ang Pao packet, there is a chance of a PTC card pack inside it.

The Pokemon Trading Card Pack advertised in the promotional poster is the Scarlet & Violet – Paradox Rift expansion. This pack includes the new Ancient and Future Pokemon cards, which have high levels of HP and strong, high-cost attacks.

The Ang Pao are now available at FamilyMart stores in Malaysia, subject to availability at each specific store, and offered on a while-stocks-last basis. Customers are only able to collect the Ang Pao during the purchase transaction.
