Four Marvel MCU Movies Are Still Coming In 2025 (Update)

Updated at 4pm GMT+8 on 8 February 2024:

Despite there only being two movies directly mentioned by Disney CEO Bob Iger, there are still four Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies listed or mentioned in the official updated schedule from Disney.

However, Bob Iger also made another statement about how Thunderbolts might potentially get delayed, so perhaps that’s why he didn’t mention it directly in his original statement.

Check them out below:

  • Captain America 4 – 14 February 2025
  • Fantastic Four – 2 May 2025
  • Thunderbolts – 25 July 2025
  • Blade – 7 November 2025

Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed that two Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies will be released in 2025, but that’s two less than was previously announced. He revealed that Captain America Brave New World and Fantastic Four will be coming in 2025, but did not mention Blade or the Thunderbolts movie.

In a statement (via ComicBook.com), Iger said:

“Looking to our 2025 theatrical slate, we’re excited to bring audiences Captain America: Brave New World and Fantastic Four for Marvel, Pixar has Zootopia 2, and then there’s Avatar 3,” Iger said during the call. “And we’re already looking forward to 2026 and beyond with Frozen 3, the first Toy Story movie since 2019, and a new Star Wars movie that brings The Mandalorian and Grogu to the big screen for the very first time.”

This was the previous schedule for 2025 as was last confirmed in November 2023:

Check them out below:

  • Captain America 4 – 14 February 2025
  • Fantastic Four – 2 May 2025
  • Thunderbolts – 25 July 2025
  • Blade – 7 November 2025

Will Blade and Thunderbolts be officially delayed? We’ll have to wait and see.

Deadpool 3 will be the only MCU movie in 2024. The only years before with only one movie were 2010’s Iron Man 2 and 2012’s The Avengers.
