Warframe Finally Launches on Mobile, Offering Seamless Cross-Platform Play

Warframe, the popular online action game developed by Digital Extremes, is finally making its way to mobile devices. The game, which has garnered a massive following since its original release nearly 11 years ago, will be available for iOS starting 20 February, with an Android launch scheduled for the near future.

Warframe’s arrival on mobile comes as no surprise considering its immense success on PC and consoles, boasting over 70 million players to date. Digital Extremes promises a faithful adaptation of the sci-fi shooter, bringing more than a decade’s worth of content to players’ fingertips.

One of the most exciting features of Warframe’s mobile debut is the implementation of Cross-Platform Play and Cross Platform Save. This means that players can seamlessly connect with their friends and continue their gaming journey across different devices, maintaining progress regardless of the platform.

To celebrate the launch, players logging in during the first week will receive a special reward package, including a three-day double XP boost and an exclusive in-game cosmetic item. Additionally, a captivating launch trailer for the iOS version has been unveiled, teasing the thrilling gameplay experience awaiting mobile gamers.

In other news from Digital Extremes, the studio is venturing into the realm of MMORPGs with Soulframe. This upcoming free-to-play fantasy game, backed by Tencent, promises to immerse players in a world filled with themes of nature, restoration, and exploration.

As Warframe expands its reach to the mobile platform, fans can expect an exciting new chapter in the game’s legacy, further solidifying its status as a titan in the gaming industry.
